With only ten days to go until publication day, I’m going to be sharing more from A Map of the Sky.
Today, I’d like to introduce you to the main character, eleven year old Kit Fisher. He’s an unshakeable optimist who loves stories about heroes saving the day. He never means to get in trouble, but there’s an awful lot of places to explore and people to befriend, so sometimes he just wanders off.
You’ll see all the events of A Map of the Sky through Kit’s eyes, but I think you’ll be able to read between the lines and spot the points when his young worldview means he misunderstands what’s going on in the story.
